My name is Jen Bowman and I am the owner and operator of Bowman Bookkeeping, LLC. I was born and raised in Hilo, Hawaii. I am a mother of two amazing children and for their formative years I was primarily a stay-at-home mom, but I have always been passionate about helping people start and build their businesses.

Over the years I honed my skills, whether it be as a business manager or volunteering my time to help others grow their own businesses from the ground up. Through this I learned so much about myself and my ability to lead with compassion and patience and watch these businesses flourish. 

As happy as it made me to help others, I decided it was time to focus on my own passion and goals. I got certified as a Bookkeeper and worked under an amazing CPA to learn everything I could about bookkeeping and taxes. In 2021, I found the courage to take the leap and start Bowman Bookkeeping and I have been thriving & growing my own business while celebrating alongside my clients as they grow their businesses and learn financial literacy in the process.  The entire experience has been amazing and continues to fuel my love for bookkeeping and helping others. 

To be able to take that burden off of my clients so they can focus on their own passion is priceless.
